The Fundamentals Level 1 Hairdressing course covers the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to start a career in hairdressing.
Course content as below:

1. Health and Safety: Understanding and maintaining health and safety practices in the salon.
2. Shampooing and Conditioning: Techniques for shampooing and conditioning hair.
3. Blow-Drying: Basic blow-drying techniques to style hair.
4. Assisting with Hair Colouring: Supporting more experienced stylists with hair colouring services.
5. Salon Reception Duties: Assisting with reception duties and customer service.
6. Maintaining Work Areas: Keeping the salon clean and organised.
7. Developing Professionalism: Learning the behaviours and attitudes expected of a professional hairdresser.

These foundational skills are designed to prepare you for further training and a successful career in hairdressing

Your Practical Sessions will be ONE TO ONE with your personal One to One Tutor via Interactive Livestream Zooms. Your tutor will demonstrate all Practical Units and guide you through each at your own pace. Our Tutors are highly skilled in delivering online classes to colleges and salons. You will be gaining access to the best tutors.

Level 2 students will need Underpinning Hairdressing Knowledge to complete our Level 2 Online Course. If no Underpinning Hairdressing Knowledge then you will need to enrol into our In-Salon Class.

You are allotted around 20-30 hours per month (GLH Guided Learning Hours) for your Practical classes with your Tutor. Each Practical session timescale is geared towards each student's learning abilities. Your Practical Sessions are UNLIMITED until you gain the knowledge and understanding to pass.

Your Case Studies will be on Head Blocks and Live models. Your tutor will give you the criteria's and some may be cross assessed.

Your Theory Units are completed online. After you enrol your tutor will reach out to you to carry out a Training Needs Analysis (TNS) and book your first Practical Session. Each Practical session timescale is geared towards each student's ability. 

Practical sessions may be Weekdays, Evenings or Sundays whichever works best for you. Course duration is 3/6-12+months depending on each learner abilities. 

After you purchase your course you will be emailed your Welcome email and immediate enrolment link. Your tutor will reach out to you to carry out your Training Needs Analysis (TNS) and discuss your Practical Sessions then your Practical Sessions dates will be agreed. Your Practical Sessions are booked around your current commitments. Intro to the Hairdressing Industry Level 2 Accreditation

• This Level 2 Hairdressing Course offers students a foundation within the sector.
• If you have an interest in becoming a hairdresser but still not totally sure as to whether this is the right career move, then this course in Hairdressing will provide a platform to work off.
