  • Assisting with Hair Colouring Gain experience supporting senior stylists with colour treatments and consultations.

  • Salon Reception Duties Enhance customer service skills by assisting with appointment scheduling and front-of-house responsibilities.

  • Maintaining Work Areas Understand the importance of keeping salon spaces clean, organised, and professional.

  • Developing Professionalism Foster the attitudes and behaviours expected of a successful hairdresser, including teamwork, punctuality, and client care.

How does our Fundamentals Level 1 Hairdressing Online Course work?

Your Practical Sessions will be ONE TO ONE with your personal One to One Tutor via Interactive Livestream Zooms. Your tutor will demonstrate all Practical Units and guide you through each at your own pace. Our Tutors are highly skilled in delivering online classes to colleges and salons. You will be gaining access to the best tutors.

You are allotted around 10-30 hours per month (GLH Guided Learning Hours) for your Practical classes with your Tutor. Each Practical session timescale is geared towards each student's learning abilities. 

Your Theory Units are completed online.

Practical sessions may be Weekdays, Evenings or Sundays whichever works best for you. Course duration is 1-3 months depending on each learner abilities. 

After you purchase your course you will be emailed your Welcome email and immediate enrolment link. Your tutor will reach out to you to carry out your Training Needs Analysis (TNS) and discuss your Practical Sessions then your Practical Sessions dates will be agreed. Your Practical Sessions are booked around your current commitments. Available days are Weekdays, Evenings and Sundays.

All learners have access to a qualified tutor via email for the stated support period. In addition to this, you will be able to speak to our support team via telephone with any query you may have relating your course. In addition to your allocated Interactive Livestream for the Practical Unit.

Our tutors and support team have years of experience in delivering online and distance learning courses. If you require help, then we are only a phone call away.

Assessment

Learners will be required to complete a series of tutor-marked assignments, (usually 1 after each unit) as they progress through this course. Each assignment will contain a variety of tasks/questions. These assignments are assessed by your tutor to monitor progress. You will be provided with constructive feedback to help you in completing each unit to the required standard.

There is no examination to complete as the course is completed using continual assessment.
